A municipal hospital with a large oncology division serving the southern part of the Silesian region of Poland. It runs surgical and general oncology, a medical oncology ward, radiotherapy and chemotherapy with a medical physics laboratory and brachytherapy, plus dedicated breast and colorectal cancer units.
