Phase II Clinical Study of Adebrelimab and Bevacizumab Combined With Cisplatin/Carboplatin in Patients With Triple-Negative Breast Cancer With Brain Metastases (ABC Study)

A phase II trial (ABC study) published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology evaluated the combination of adebrelimab (anti-PD-L1) and bevacizumab with platinum-based chemotherapy (cisplatin or carboplatin) in patients with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and brain metastases — an aggressive subtype with very limited treatment options for CNS disease. The study addresses a critical unmet need, as TNBC brain metastases carry a dismal prognosis and are typically excluded from immunotherapy trials. Specific efficacy and survival data are not yet available from the ahead-of-print publication.
