Gotistobart Extends Survival in Squamous Lung Cancer — Phase III PRESERVE-003 Trial

In the phase III PRESERVE-003 trial the anti-CTLA-4 antibody gotistobart extended median overall survival to 18.5 months versus 10.0 months with docetaxel in metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer that progressed after anti-PD-(L)1 therapy (HR 0.572). The stage 1 results were presented on 15 September 2026 at the IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul, with no new safety signals reported. Treatment options in this setting are very limited — docetaxel chemotherapy remains the standard after immunotherapy failure.
