Significant Survival Boost With Novel ADCs in Relapsed Small-Cell Lung Cancer

Two investigational anti-B7-H3 antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) significantly improved survival outcomes in patients with relapsed small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) across a pair of Chinese clinical trials, including the TAISHAN-302 study. B7-H3 represents a novel therapeutic target in SCLC, a disease with historically limited second-line options and poor prognosis. The findings suggest ADCs directed at B7-H3 may open a new treatment avenue for relapsed SCLC, where median overall survival after progression on first-line therapy typically remains below 8 months.
