Zidesamtinib: 90% Response Rate in TKI-Naive ROS1-Positive Lung Cancer

Zidesamtinib (Jideytro), a ROS1-targeting tyrosine kinase inhibitor, achieved an objective response rate of 90% in patients with advanced or metastatic ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer who had not previously received a TKI. ROS1 rearrangements occur in approximately 1–2% of NSCLC cases, making highly active targeted agents critical for this molecular subset. The exceptionally high response rate positions zidesamtinib as a potentially best-in-class option for TKI-naïve ROS1-positive patients.
