A binding-to-release strategy for targeted anticancer drug delivery

A novel binding-to-release drug conjugate strategy enables targeted anticancer payload release at the tumour site without requiring cellular internalization, overcoming a key limitation of conventional antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). The approach improves tumour specificity and therapeutic efficacy while substantially expanding the range of druggable surface targets.
